Originally the Dillon Supply steel warehouse, this 2-story abandoned building was converted to a 190,000 square foot, 4-story mixed-use building located in the Warehouse District of downtown Raleigh, NC. Its historic presence was maintained by preserving the façade of the original Dillon Supply building.

Structural Elements:

  • deep pile foundation

  • composite steel floor beams

  • curved wood glulam roof joists

  • steel-braced frames for lateral stability of the 50ft tall building
